Greeting from Ireland. If you are looking for a wonderful friendly place to stay then this is the place for you ! 16 of us just spent a week in Hotel Lanchers and used it as our base for 6 days walking in the mountains. Everyone enjoyed the visit, the location is ideal, and the food is excellent. In fact our plan for the week was to have dinner on two nights at an alternative venue but food was so good we decided to stay in. All this with the addition of a friendly staff, Patrick was a saint. Monica queen of hearts at desserts and languages, Anne smiles all the time and not forgetting the ladies at breakfast who topped up the flasks with a smile. The guys in the kitchen deserve our thanks for the good food.. To you Celine and Jon, thanks for making this one of our best trips away from home and should we return to Chamonix you will be our first call. Kind Regards to all, Johnny
